I am sad to report that two well-respected North Wales photographers have died recently:

Matt Morrow was, from the moment he arrived in Mold Camera Club in about 2012/2013, a strong photographer with a keen appreciation of the outdoors, from Alpine and Snowdonia scenes to action sports, from Moto-Cross to Slalom Canoeing, and was
capable of quietly tackling almost any genre to great effect.
A very modest man, if pushed, he would talk with authority on any of his subjects and his dedication to his own photography and to the Club is evidenced by his distinctions in International Exhibitions, AFIAP (Artiste FIAP), National Exhibitions, (BPE4*), and CPAGB (Credit PAGB).
It will never be the same without Matt in Mold Camera Club and the Eryri Photo Group - his sudden passing has shocked everyone who knew him and our sympathies go out to Sylvia and his family.
Andy Polakowski, Mold CC

Tudur Owen Passed away peacefully at his home LLYS HELEN Croesor on February 18th aged 93 years.
Tudur was a life member of CLWB CAMERA BLAENAU FFESTINIOG He produced some amazing images and was a fantastic asset to the club Public funeral at Bangor crematorium on Thursday March 6th at 9am An event to celebrate Tudur's life to be held at Croesor Gallery on Saturday June 7th at 11am
Dewi Wiliams
Club chairman, Blaenau Ffestiniog CC

Tudur was one of the most respected Photographers in North Wales, working mostly in Black and White prints, with his work being exhibited around the world and published in numerous magazines and books. A member of Deudrath Camera club for a number of years, he then joined Blaenau over 30 years ago. Always willing to talk about photography, especially his favourite genres: nudes and Landscapes.
