Print Battle - April 21st at Craig y Don
The Doors will be open at 12pm until 4pm.
We have some fab Raffle prizes on offer. Cambrian Photography in Colwyn Bay have donated a
£50 voucher.
Foto speed some A3 Paper, along with A3 and A4 paper from Perma jet
We have some Binoculars and a tripod donated by Jason Wharam as a representative of
Vanguard. And our usual wine and chocolates.
There is a £3 charge on the door this includes 1 raffle ticket and refreshments.
Extra Raffle tickets will be available for £1 a strip.
We look forward to seeing you all at the Craig y don community centre in Llandudno,
a great afternoon event to socialise, and enjoy looking at some great images.
Our Judge is Mike McNamee who did a super job last time.
I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible
PAGB APMs held at Nottingham

PDI Challenge
Congratulations to Mold for winning our very own PDI Challenge on Sat 4th, with a score of 152pts, with Conwy coming second with 140pts.
Thank you to all the 12 clubs who took part.
Richard Hainsworth was awarded the best image of the day by the judge of the day, the Excllent Christine Widdall, for not only giving a superb talk and showing the variety of her work, but in pre-judging and then judging all the images on the day.

Congratulations to Janet Davies of Mold Camera club who has been awarded the HonNWPA, being presented by our Charman Linda Bell.
Also a huge congratulations to John Williams for his work keeping Grws camera club boyant as their Treasurer for many a year, being awarded his HonNWPA by the Vice Charman, Jason Wahram.

With a very heavy heart we have to inform you that Abergele camera club is no longer, they have disbanded effective immediately. We are deeply saddened by this, and wish the members all the best in the future, hoping they might find another club to join!

Cefni Camera Club
Some wonderful news, Cefni Camera Club has been brought back to life, after a lot of hard work in the background by previous members, they will be meeting at Canolfan Ebeneser, Bridge Street, Llangefni, Anglesey, LL77 7PN - 19:00-21:00 on the last Wednesday of the month; September thru June inclusive. The first meeting being February 22nd 2023. Welcome back to the fold.

NWPA 2021 EXHIBITION - FREE TO ENTER

Entry Portal will open on 27th February for entries, and will stay open until midnight April 10th:
Please note that we will download images every day or two. You will not get a confirmation email until we have downloaded your images so no need to panic if you don’t hear straight away. But contact us if you haven’t received a confirmation email after a few days.
The ENTRANT must be a paid up member of a photographic club or society affiliated to the NWPA.
EVERY constituent image forming part of an entry must be originated by photographic means by the author, who must hold the original copyright of all such constituent parts.
Please could you make sure when entering the exhibition that you put your last name first on the online entry form and you must put your email address. This is the only way we will have of contacting you.
By entering you must abide by the rules of the exhibition, and if entry is successful that you agree for the said entry to be shown on the NWPA web site.
By entering the exhibition you give the NWPA consent to use the images for the purposes of publicity and to be used in the catalogue. Copyright will remain with the author.
Your personal details will be kept on file by the NWPA for record purposes. (The NWPA data protection policy is available to view elsewhere on this site.
The Judges this year will be:

The selection date is Saturday May 8th, judging will now be online due to the coronavirus.

This year THE EXHIBITION includes 5 sections, all PDIs–
1 Open Mono
2 Open Colour
3 Nature
4 Photojournalism
5 Digital Art
There are 5 sections where you may enter up to 4 images in each section. ALL images must have a title, "Untitled" is not a title and will be discarded. Image size 1600px x 1200px max, SRGB at any DPI.
Entry will be via the on-line entry form accessed through the NWPA website
Photojournalism (incl. Street & Sport):
The image should record the event as seen without major alterations. Minor cloning is permissible as is spot removal and 'normal' adjustments. The image may be in Mono or Colour.
Digital Art:
Anything that your imagination can conjure is eligible in this section.
Nature:-
Basically, if it looks like nature, then it is nature..

IMAGES which are indistinguishable from one another by the same author, or with the same title, are ineligible. Images which have been accepted in any previous NWPA Exhibition will be disqualified.
A PDF catalogue will be sent to all entrants. The accepted images will be displayed on the NWPA website for a year.
